Information and Technology Services, Helpdesk (Fall 97-Spr 00) Assistant Student Helpdesk Coordinator (Sum 98-Fall 98). Student Helpdesk Coordinator (Spr 99). As Helpdesk: monitored labs, answered users' questions, taught classes on e-mail and other computer programs. As Coordinator: staffed labs; maintained documentation; and interviewed, hired, and trained new employees. This was part-time work while attending school.

UnumProvident Corporation, Chattanooga, Tennessee. Systems Intern (Sum 99). Worked with database and data communication group focusing on distributed databases including DB2 and SQL Server as well as ASP and VBScript communication with these databases.

JCPenney, Sales Associate (Sum 97, Dec 98). Summer and winter break employment working in retail and customer service.
